I should be getting my Snake Pit decants next week!

The Heroines ended up being a good thing- I got half-imps.  The ones I thought would've worked on me didn't, and three I never would've ordered worked.

I am very amused by this.

I also have one bottle on its way to me (of the Heroines) YAY and hopefully a full imp of another.  We'll see about the third later.

I also have a bottle of one of the CD act IIIs that I like on its way to me, and that makes me happy.  I have no idea if it'll work, but hey.  It's coming, and that is yay.

Perfume.  I never, ever ever in a million years would've thought I'd've ended up loving perfume as much as I do.  It's so crazy.

In other news, there is a ton going on in my life.  Friendships have shifted, some went away entirely, others have gotten closer, though the core three (David, Michelle, and Jgrrl) have remained the same.  Funny, that.

C and I have also been talking about kids.  Scary stuff there.

Lastly, I get to go to Dragon*Con this year!  WOOTAGE!  Need to talk to David about that.  More details, and stuff.  Find out if I need cash for anything, 'cuz if I do I'll probably have to do a huge perfume sale for it.

Speaking of, I should sell anyway because OMG I want Ostara and I haven't gotten it yet!  ACK!

I'm feeling good about the new laptop, the new Dada.net blog, and everything!  I think this will be good.

We have acquired another kitty cat to be friends (hopefully) with the Kogabeastie.

New kitty is named Ichigo.  We shall be introducing them later, once Ichi can settle in.

So, I finally got my new laptop, and I'm giddy about it, but I still haven't been able to get all my old stuff off my old laptop.

Apparently the old hard drive got corrupted somehow, and we're having to do a restore and repair before it'll give us the stuff.  Very frustrating.

It seems like my luck with computers is just ALL bad. 

I miss my music the most- hopefully it'll all be there, tho.  We shall see, for sure.

If and when I get the stuff back, I will definitely let you know.

I need to make an effort to find peace more.

I've been neglecting my inner sanctum far too much lately.  Becoming a whirling dervish of activity is not good for me, and I know this, but I've still been pushing myself, and focusing on 'this will happen then, and then this,' rather than doing what is good for me and focusing on the moment, and the now, and enjoying what I have.

Maybe noticing it will help... 

One can only hope.

About all that's fun lately is testing my BPAL and writing, which I haven't been doing enough of.  That sucks, but I'll get back into the swing of things soon, I hope- once I get my own laptop again.

The BPAL testing has been going well- I only have 4 bottles left to test, and quite a few to add to my sales page so I can buy more.  :)  If I don't sell them by the end of this month, I think I'm going to Ebay again. 

Anyway, that's my life in a nutshell lately.  Glamorous, isn't it?

So, the in-laws came for a visit, and we had a blast.  It was really fun.  Got to go out to dinner at Sunny's BBQ on Saturday, had a cook-out Sunday, and then ate at our favorite Country Cookin' place Monday.  All in all, a very nice way to spend a holiday weekend.

Of course, Monday, I did my usual perusal of MLK's most famous speech.  Goodness, do I miss the orators of days past.  We really need some of those back!

This week, dentist visit today, then I have to catch up on my writing.  Hopefully, I'll be able to get myself a new laptop this week, so I can delve back into the full-time stuff.  I miss it so!

I hope and pray I have my own laptop by the end of next week.

We shall see if it happens.  I can only hope- because I have so much work to do!

I still don't have a laptop of my own.  It's eating at me, like a thorn in my foot, or a sore tooth.  I just can't stop thinking about how 'if I had my own laptop [fill in the blank].'

It sucks.

I miss my music, I miss my favorites, I miss MY SETUP.

I'm grateful that my husband is letting me use his, but damn, I want my stuff back the way *I* like it!

Hopefully it won't be too much longer.

Still no money, still no new laptop, and I am so tired of waiting.

*falls over*

I really can't wait until Christmas is over.

That's sad.  I used to love this time of year, but this year has just been one bummer after the other.

Ah well.  Next year will be here soon.

Things are rough.

No laptop of my own, and very little time to do more than skim emails.

Hopefully things will calm down after the holidays!  We'll see.

And to add to my misery, I am sick!

This is truly no fun.

Hopefully I'll be able to get online more sooner rather than later, but it just sucks at the moment.
